Seashell Collector

Updated: Sep 26, 2019

For as long as I can remember I've always loved collecting seashells. There was nothing better than walking on the beach practically by myself, listening to the seagulls, smelling the salty sea air, watching the waves come and go and looking for those beautiful little treasures that were brought in from the sea. I miss those days....

I would always make sure there wasn't anyone living in the shells I collected, except for one time when I got home I started cleaning the shells when I discovered one of the shells had a visitor. I know it's crazy, but I kept it in the bag and headed back to the beach to release the little critter back to where it came from. Silly I know, but that's just the kind of person I am.

I don't get to the beach as often as I would like nowadays, but I still have fun with my seashell collection by creating some great still life photographs.

This one is so far my favorite along with an old copy of Robinson Crusoe. There will be many more to come.

Until next time.....
